About the collection

Deck in detail

Eva-tech IS dual tone is an uncapped board with an embossed, timber-like surface, in Rusteak and Savanna. Infinity I-Series has a protective polymer cap that resists fading, scratching, staining and mould, with a sculpted grain, in Swiss Oak. Both come in 5.45 m lengths.

Grooved edges take hidden clip fasteners, so no screws show on the surface. Starter boards finish the perimeter and stairs, in matching colours. It suits terraces, balconies, pool surrounds and garden decks at homes, restaurants and lodges, and needs a level, ventilated joist frame.

Questions we get asked

Is composite decking better than timber for outdoor use?

Composite does not need oiling or sanding and is made to resist weathering and decay, so it is lower maintenance in strong sun and heavy rain.

What is the difference between Eva-tech and Infinity decking?

Eva-tech IS is uncapped. Infinity has a protective polymer cap against fading, scratching, staining and mildew.

What is a starter board for?

It has one grooved and one solid edge, so it finishes the deck perimeter and stairs where a hidden clip cannot be used on the open side.

How far apart should decking joists be?

Eva-Last specifies 400 mm centres for Eva-tech IS and 500 mm for Infinity I-Series.
