A concealed shower keeps valves and pipework inside the wall, leaving only a slim trim on the tile. The hansgrohe iBox universal 2 is the installation base that makes it possible.
What it is
The iBox universal 2 is a concealed installation base set that hides shower and bath valves, connections and internal plumbing inside the wall. The visible part, the finish set, is chosen separately and can be changed later.
Why installers like it
It works with all current and future hansgrohe and AXOR finish sets (older lines need an adapter plate). It fits wall depths from 80 mm to 108 mm, has a pre-assembled sealing sleeve for watertight installation, acoustic decoupling to reduce water noise, and an integrated circular level for fast, accurate alignment.
Plan it early
The iBox goes in at the plumbing stage, before tiling. Decide on your shower layout, then choose the trim, thermostat or mixer to finish it when the walls are done.
